A robust 1680 denier ballistic fabric base constructed using a 2x2 basket weave then backed with layer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) that is resistant to UV, acids, alkalis, oils and many corrosive inorganic chemicals. While being impermeable to most liquids, this backing also acts as a light flame retardant and is self extinguishing. The ballistic PVC pairing makes for a high impact strength fabric that withstands abrasion yet is flexible and easy to cut and sew. Custom length cuts are available.
